ASG in Hobbitland

Gavin Mee, the Irish hobbit who put the G back in the ASG. He's the one who - unknowingly - started the Guild, and only played once for us. Now he's back in Amsterdam. Last week, Reaganesk, Gav & me played for hours on the streets and in the parks of Amsterdam. These pics are shot in the famous Vondelpark, where everything is possible.

Gavin & Reaganesk. We've been smoking cigars all day. Not very good for your voice, so I'm quitting already...

Me, Gav & another writer, Vondel. He could rhyme anything together...

You should really click on the pic to see the bigger picture...

Reaganesk & Gav getting really agitated over a Fleetwood Mac issue. In a few moments, blood will flow...

We're jamming along on eachother's music, and at the end of the long day we understand eachother better. World Peace can be achieved that way.

Me & Gav again, in the green green grass of home...

Gav the Irish Hobbit is my 1st cousin - our mothers grew up together under the endless starry sky that drapes over the west of Ireland before falling off into the angry Atlantic.

Word has travelled once more to my region that the Hobbit is on the move, this time towards the cobbled streets of the lovely Amsterdam.

I used to live out there myself some years ago and so hope to one day visit you all. It sounds like there is a wonderful spirit thriving out there!

Until then, avoid the wrathes and the wrath of ratty Gods in your noble pursuit of songs suitable for Sirens.

You're welcome anytime, Paul! Gav will stay in Amsterdam for a few months. We're having a great time. Hope you're doing fine in this dark period for London.

We'll keep the songs comin'!

Kim, you're welcome to come sing anytime. I think you're piano playing is fine too. You're saying it distracts you too much from singing. But Sappho is just the perfect place to practice that! You don't need to give a fully accomplished stage performance, it's a tryout session.
Hope to see you there again...
